GUIDE BOOKS – CHANGES ARE AFOOT:
A Message from Simone
More than ten years after starting to write them, Culm Valley Publishing’s walking guide books are still as popular as ever – but changes are afoot.
In order to concentrate on the freelance writing that I do for regional and national magazines, I have decided to ‘retire’ the books. They are still available from many bookshops, other retail outlets and online (and I have a few stashed away myself if anyone is desperate) but once these stocks have gone they will no longer be reprinted.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the people over the years who have bought these books – starting with the very first, pre-CVP title more than twenty years ago. I know you’ve enjoyed the walks from all the lovely feedback I still continue to receive. A very big thank you to all the shops who have stocked them and to the fabulous fulfillment and distribution team at NBN International – I couldn’t have done it without you!
I will still be writing new walks each month for Devon Life and Somerset Life, along with freelance features on a wide range of West Country topics for a variety of national and regional magazines, so the quill is still active.
You can still keep in touch. If you are struggling to find copies of the books please let me know and I will direct you to your nearest stockist.
Thanks to you all for supporting Culm Valley Publishing.
